The Setting
The detached HH Guest House is separated from the owner’s main house by a series of terraces planted with over 30 olive trees, ornamental plants, vegetables, herbs, roses, and California redwoods. The nearest terrace features a bocce court for your enjoyment. Your secluded accommodations are private and are not shared with the property owners or other guests – including a private driveway (two car maximum). There is little to no line of sight to the main house and the Guest House sits far off the street so it feels much like your own property.
On The Inside
High ceilings create an open feeling inside the house and guests are welcomed to rearrange the two overstuffed chairs, ottoman and a copper-top table to create the perfect intimate space for eating, working or playing - Dominoes and cards are provided. The walls are adorned with inspiring art from some of our favorite artists. Air conditioning, heat and operable windows along with oversized French doors allow you to have the perfect temperature and connection to the outdoors. Wi-Fi both inside and out, full house stereo system and a television with a host of streaming services like Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime provide entertainment options.
The Guest House features a deluxe king bed, with luxury linens, down duvet and electric warming blanket in the cooler seasons. At the foot of the bed are two storage drawers containing luxurious robes, an iron and a small ironing board. There is also a small rack for hanging your wardrobe with hangers provided.
The Kitchen
Our modern galley kitchen features an under-counter refrigerator, gas stove, Keurig coffee maker, toaster and a microwave/convection oven combo. The cabinets are stocked with china, silver, stemware, rocks glasses, cocktail shaker, corkscrew, travel mugs and water bottles, cooking pans and utensils as well as basic oils and seasonings. We provide French Roast and decaffeinated French Roast coffee pods, cream, an assortment of hot teas and sparkling & still water upon arrival.
The Bath
The contemporary bath features high ceilings, heated tile floors, an exterior door and fresh towels and complimentary toiletries. The glass walk-in shower includes dual shower heads (a rain shower head & handheld wand), built-in-corner seat, river rock floor, operable window, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There is magnifying mirror and storage inside the medicine cabinet and a hairdryer provided.
Entertainment
The Guest House features a whole house audio system that allows you to connect via Bluetooth and play directly from your device, or enjoy the streaming audio services we provide via an iPad in the kitchen. We also provide subscriptions to Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime for streaming television and movies. You can use your personal login for additional services you may have. There is no cable service available.
The Great Outdoors
There are several areas to allow you to enjoy the amazing Sonoma County weather. Two lounge chairs and a table provide a relaxing setting under one of our ancient olive trees. Café chairs and tables are on the front and back patios - perfect for morning coffee or a dinner under the stars. The bocce court also has a seating area under more ancient oaks to take a break from competitive play.
